This year, September 30 is recognized nationally as Truth and Reconciliation Day that has evolved from Orange Shirt Day. Krasman Centre is committed to sharing the truth and working towards healing and reconciliation with Indigenous communities. We welcome you to take this time to engage in activities that further our understanding of Indigenous Communities, Cultures, Histories and/or Teachings.
As part of our agency focus, we hope to use our collective voices to strengthen and help heal Indigenous communities. .We invite you to show your support and participate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by 1) Wearing Orange to show your support for those impacted by Residential Schools 2) Support local Indigenous businesses (link in our blog). 3) Engage in a conversation with family and friends about the history of Canada 4) Educate yourself – find out whose territory you live in.

- National Centre of Truth and Reconciliation is holding Truth and Reconciliation Week. The programming will feature short videos created by Indigenous storytellers, followed by conversations with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, Survivors, and the children of Survivors of residential schools.
