DESCRIPTION:The Krasman Centre invites you to an all-inclusive addictions virtual group\, supporting peers with the challenges of substance use\, food\, and behaviours.  \nNEW: Tough Stuff is updating its format to increase the group’s focus and the healing environment. It will be a 6-session group\, with a certification of your attendance at the end. \nTough Stuff runs every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month | 5 PM – 6:30 PM  \nThere will be increased structure by the facilitators\, and the opportunity for deeper sharing and personal exploration. We understand that healing from our substance and behavioural challenges requires the opportunity to grow and learn from one another.   \nThe topics for the 6 sessions are:  \n\nSelf-Compassion \nStrength in Vulnerability \nForgiveness \nInner Child\nMindfulness and Meditation\nConnection & Community \n\nThis is a group for open and honest discussions about what drives us to do what we do! This is a safe space to meet with others with lived experience\, who know how you feel! \nThe Krasman Centre operates from a harm reduction perspective\, we are here to support you with any goals you may have. \nPlease note registration for this cycle (October to December) is now closed. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an information session to learn more about PREP. \nThe Peer Recovery Education Program (PREP) is a comprehensive series of courses and trainings about Peer Support and Recovery and paid internship offered within a supportive community of peers. The program is designed to support your personal recovery and support you to enter or progress in the peer\, recovery\, mental health\, or social services workforce. PREP program is made available to participants through bursaries they are awarded\, therefore the training is FREE to those that are selected to participate. We will select up to 15 individuals for this grant period. \nInformation sessions: We strongly encourage individuals to attend an information session before completing an application to learn all about the program to help them determine if this training is a good fit for them. \nInformation sessions will be held virtually on: \n\nThursday\, September 2\, 2021 at 1 pm\nWednesday\, September 8\, 2021 at 6 pm\nThursday\, September 9\, 2021 at 4 pm\nMonday\, September 13\, 2021 at 3 pm\n\nRegistration: Please email us at prep3@krasmancentre.com if you are interested in attending an information session.  Be sure to include the date of the session you’d like to attend. \nFor more information about PREP\, click here.

DESCRIPTION:The Krasman Centre invites you to an all-inclusive addictions virtual group\, supporting peers with the challenges of substance use\, food\, and behaviours.  \nNEW: Tough Stuff is updating its format to increase the group’s focus and the healing environment. It will be a 6-session group\, with a certification of your attendance at the end. \nTough Stuff runs every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month | 5 PM – 6:30 PM  \nThere will be increased structure by the facilitators\, and the opportunity for deeper sharing and personal exploration. We understand that healing from our substance and behavioural challenges requires the opportunity to grow and learn from one another.   \nThe topics for the 6 sessions are:  \n\nSelf-Compassion \nStrength in Vulnerability \nForgiveness \nInner Child\nMindfulness and Meditation\nConnection & Community \n\nThis is a group for open and honest discussions about what drives us to do what we do!
