DESCRIPTION:Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) *8 weeks online learning*\n*you will need internet access and a computer to register to take this free online/zoom course* \nWhat is WRAP? \nWellness Recovery Action Plan is a program for people who want to increase their feelings of wellness and\nempowerment in their lives. WRAP is simple self-help system for identifying personal resources and then using\nthose resources to stay well and help you when you feel unwell. WRAP involves exploring with peers\, in a nonjudgemental\, accepting environment\, what we’re like when we are feeling well\, unwell\, when things are breaking\ndown\, and when we are in crisis. We explore and develop our wellness tools to improve and maintain our\nwellness\, learn how to take better care of ourselves\, and create hope\, personal responsibility\, education\, selfadvocacy and support. \nWho can participate? \nWRAP can benefit anyone. The focus of WRAP is to develop personal wellness tools that help you cope with\nstress\, manage crisis and enjoy life more fully. People who experience mental health challenges and/or substance\nuse concerns\, consumer/survivors\, peer supporters and those who want to work more on their personal wellness\nand recovery are welcome to attend.\nNote: Since this is an online WRAP\, a Certificate of Completion cannot be given.
