DESCRIPTION:Join us for a BBQ to celebrate the official opening of our temporary relocation at the Alliston Memorial Arena (49 Nelson St. West Entrance) and to celebrate MAD Pride. The Mad Pride movement celebrates and empowers psychiatric survivors\, consumers\, mad people\, and those labelled ‘mentally ill’. Krasman Centre is committed to empowering Mad communities and challenging the stigma and oppression that so many folks living with mental health challenges face.  \nWe hope you can join us for a chance to connect with the community and the Krasman Centre staff.  We will be serving hamburgers\, hot dogs\, and other light refreshments. \nInterested in attending? DESCRIPTION:Have you lost all social and emotional connections to others due to health issues or challenges? Has the pandemic made you feel isolated? You are not alone. \nThe Meeting Spot is a peer-led virtual support group for individuals touched by mental health and/or addiction challenges. \nHere\, we strive to maintain a welcoming environment where you will find support and understanding from others who share similar experiences. The Meeting Spot is an inclusive and non-judgmental space to share stories of hope\, strength\, determination and personal experiences while connecting with others.  \nPlease be advised registration is required. All virtual groups are accessible via Zoom video or dial-in by phone.
