World Overdose Poisoning Awareness Day is a virtual memorial and day of education and action. We aim to amplify the voices of PWUD, raise awareness about overdose prevention, and reduce the stigma that surrounds drug-related deaths. We demand an end to the racist and oppressive and failed ‘war on drugs.’

The morning of this event will focus primarily on education around harm reduction, the negative implications of the ‘war on drugs’ as well as resources of support. The afternoon will revolve around remembrance of those lost during this poisoning epidemic.
