Susan Dobson has had a long-standing passion and interest in addressing social justice issues. Susan brings a unique perspective to her work, as a person with lived experiences of mental distress as well as a person with lived experience as a family supporter of someone with experiences of mental distress. Susan has been working in the social services field in York Region for more than 15 years; most notably in the violence against women sector and the mental health and addictions sector.
Susan trained as a Peer Supporter in 2011 and has been the Executive Director of the Krasman Centre for eight years.
