2. Create a happiness playlist Add upbeat and happy songs to your playlist to improve your mood and boost your spirts. Have a listen to Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ song or Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling”. We promise it will put you in a good mood and get you dancing!
3. Practice Positive Affirmations Positive affirmations are short, positive statements that help encourage and motivate us to stay positive. They are nurturing affirmations to re-wire our brain to think positively to help achieve a happier life. They really work! Give it a go – write 3 positive affirmations. Here’s one “I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing happiness”.
4. Cook yourself nutritious meals Good nutrition and eating a balanced diet is one of the keys to a healthy life. Not only good for our physical health but also our mental well-being. When we make healthy food choices, our body and mind are adequately nourished, we have more energy and our productivity blossoms!
5. Practice Mindfulness Make time in your day to rest and find relaxation, even in the smallest form. Being mindful focuses on the present moment, where you are and how you are feeling.
