This year, Volunteer Apreciation Week runs from April 19th to April 25th. It is time to show our appreciation to every person that makes a difference in our communities. If you know of a special person that makes such a difference, make sure to honour them – on a daily basis – but especially during this week.
The Krasman Centre will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation on Saturday April 25th at 1pm. We invite all of our volunteers to attend. We will have light refreshments and snacks. This will be great opportunity for all of us to show our appreciation to the wonderful volunteers that have assited us through the last year. We hope you see you!

Representatives of the Seneca College Work on Track program will be at the Krasman Centre, Richmond Hill location on Friday April 17th from 2-3pm, to provide us more information regarding their program. “Work on Track is a program designed to assist individuals with mental health issues achieve self-reliance through employment.”
This program is part of Seneca College’s Counselling, Special Needs and Health Services Department, and is affiliated with Seneca College’s Redirection Through Education (RTE) program.
No registration is required for this presentation.
We are looking for volunteers to join us in cleaning the area surrounding the centre in Richmond Hill, particularly in the parking lot area. Spring cleaning will take place in the afternoon of Wednesday April 8th, between 1-4pm.
If you’d like to lend a hand, please let us know, or join us on that day.
Note: Spring clean up will take place at our Alliston location on Monday April 27th.

The Hidden In Plain Sight Exhibit will be featured at the end of this month at the Eleanor Winters Gallery in York University. The Exhibit will run from Monday April 27th to Friday May 1st.
Hidden In Plain Sight is a photographic exhibit of the inhumane circumstances of living homeless and at‐risk in York Region as depicted by people living on the edge.
The Exhibit will be presented in Room 129 at the Eleanor Winters Gallery. The gallery is located at the Winters College building in York University, 4700 Keele Street, Toronto.
The opening night reception on Monday April 27th, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The regular hours for the Eleanor Winters Gallery is Mon‐Fri, 12pm to 5pm.
